Pyongyang, May 11 (KCNA) -- A Latin American regional Juche idea seminar on "Independence, global peace and social justice" took place in Mexico City, the capital city of Mexico on May 3 and 4.
Present there were the director general, vice-director general and directors of the Latin American Institute of the Juche Idea, chiefs of the organizations for the study of the Juche idea in Peru, Colombia, Chile, Costa Rica and other Latin American regions, members of a delegation of the Secretariat of the International Institute of the Juche Idea and figures of political and social circles in Mexico.
An opening address by the director general of the Latin American Institute of the Juche Idea was followed by congratulatory messages from the Korean Association of Social Scientists, Juche idea institutes in different regions and Juche idea study organizations in different countries and congratulatory addresses and speeches.
The secretary general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, the director general, vice-director general and directors of the Latin American Institute of the Juche Idea and other speakers explained in detail that the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung and developed and enriched by Chairman Kim Jong Il was formulated as Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un .
They stressed that it is most important for the Latin American and Caribbean countries to independently hew out all fields including politics and economy in conformity with the actual conditions of their countries and build up the strength of self-respect along the path of independence indicated by the Juche idea and that the anti-imperialist independent forces in the regions should unite firmly and jointly struggle against the imperialist high-handed and arbitrary practices.
A letter to the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar. -0-
