A meeting was held at the Korean Industrial Art Studio on the 17th to mark the 70th anniversary of its establishment.
Present there were Kim Tok Hun, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, and officials and employees of the studio.
Kim Tok Hun conveyed a congratulatory message of the Central Committee of the WPK to the creators and officials of the studio.
The message said the Korean Industrial Art Studio has won the fame and performed feats as an authoritative industrial art organ thanks to the unusual wisdom and meticulous guidance of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. The course of precious struggle of the former generations who have rendered services to keeping and developing true features of socialism at their glorious post assigned by the Party has been recorded in the history of the studio, it stressed.
The message noted that a period of great changes has opened in the socialist construction and a rapid progress made in the Juche-oriented industrial art over the past 10 years, when the studio has written the most brilliant heyday in its history.
Director Kim Hyon Chol made a report, which was followed by speeches.
