Pyongyang, April 7 (KCNA) -- Officials and working people in Nampho Municipality of the DPRK make successes in the work to spruce up the appearance of streets, villages and workplaces.
Officials of the municipality are pushing ahead with the project for paving roads and repairing the walking roads in Waudo District in a planned way.
Kangso District prepared cement and organic distemper for external building walls under a plan for repairing dwelling houses. Hundreds of houses and tens of public buildings in the district are under repair.
Working people in Hanggu District plant trees of good species along streets and in parks and set up flower beds and flowerpot stands to add beauty to the streets.
Chollima District is concentrating its efforts and machinery on river improvement, embankment project, etc.
Regular management of water supply pipelines and pumps and the remodeling of sewage purifying facilities are progressing apace, thanks to the efforts of officials and working people in Taean District and Ryonggang County.
Employees of the Chollima Steel Complex and the Kumsong Tractor Factory are stepping up the work to improve the environment of their worksites and create green areas in their compounds. -0-
