The permanent representative of Iran to Geneva categorically opposed and rejected the submission of the draft anti-Iran “Human Rights Resolution” to the recent 58th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council(UNHRC).
If the “draft resolution” submitted to the UNHRC was adopted, Iran would reconsider collaboration with the council, he noted. He criticized the UNHRC for finding fault with the “human rights issue” of Iran while ignoring the Palestinian issue deceiving the public view, overpowered by pressure from outside forces instead of maintaining impartiality and sincerity.
He concluded by disclosing that all the countries who made remarks against Iran at the session have no right to talk about genuine human rights.
