"We Can Picture the Day When Urbanites Will Envy the People in Countryside"

On Jan. 24, the regional-industry factories were inaugurated in Kujang County and among them was the Kujang County Foodstuff Factory.

That day, Jang Yong Chol, the manager, cut the tape in tears.

He recollected the benevolent image of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who visited the construction site of the regional-industry factories in the county in October last year and said that we should build every structure into a wonderful and perfect symbol of the times.

He said that it is the unanimous desire of the employees to repay the love of the great father by mass-producing famous products favored by the residents of the county.

Jang Un Ae, manager of the Kujang County Garment Factory, faced a "trouble" on the inauguration day.

Lots of housewives insisted on working at the factory after looking round it.

Not only them but also all the other residents of the county want to work at the wonderful factory built thanks to the efforts of the respected General Secretary.

Ri Un Jong, a farmer of the Sugu Industrial Crops Farm of the county said that the people moved into new splendid houses not long ago and yet greeted another auspicious event. She continued that now the people in the county do not envy urbanites.

The people in the county are unanimous in saying that they can visualize tomorrow when the urbanites will envy the people in the countryside.

Mountainous County Overflows with Enthusiasm for Repay

Usi County, a mountainous county, resounds with endless laughter of people.

Looking at various goods produced at the newly-built regional-industry factories, Kang Myong Suk, manager of the Usi County Commercial Agency, was deeply moved by the fact that the commodity provision to residents in her county can be made with locally produced ones.

Ri Il Sim, a teacher of the township kindergarten, stroked the colorful and aromatic soaps and burst out her impression:

From olden times Usi region was known as a mountainous and infertile land. In ancient times such a tale that Usi region fell under the jurisdiction of loser in Korean chess game between magistrates of Pyokdong and Chosan counties was told of the region. But now, we envy nobody and on the contrary, others envy us.

Kim Chung Song, an employee of the garment factory, said that he had visited many garment producing units in the province and never saw such a wonderful factory as his factory equipped with modern facilities.

People in Usi County keenly realize that their county gets prosperous day after day thanks to the benevolence of the Workers’ Party of Korea. A farmer at the Kaha Farm said that he doubled his confidence in bright future looking at various quality goods produced at the new regional industry factories and he would fulfill duty as master of country by doing farming well.

Now the people in Usi county, bearing in minds the truth that the plan of our mother Party is sure to be realized, make firm pledge to uphold the Party’s intention and usher in a new history of rural rejuvenation.
