TheInter-Provincial Games in Celebration of the 75th Anniversary of Day ofSports-2024 opened in Pyongyang, the capital of the DPRK.
Inthe contest, players selected from Pyongyang and all provinces (cities underthe direct control of the government) will compete in such events as women'sbasketball, men's volleyball, badminton, Taekwon-Do, tug-of-war, arm wrestling andothers.
OnOctober 13, there were preliminary women's basketball games at the BasketballGymnasium on Chongchun Street and preliminary games of men's volleyball,badminton and tug-of-war at the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium respectively amid thegreat expectation and interest of the people and sports fans across the country.
Displayinghigh sports techniques and noble sportsmanship and fair play, players unfolded excitingplaying scenes.
Theenthusiastic rooting by members of cheering squads from the provinces enlivenedthe atmosphere of the sports games.
