Stand Which Must Be Held Fast to

In March, 2016, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un inspected a machine factory.

Learning in detail about the development and production of new products during his tour of the factory, the respected General Secretary expressed satisfaction at the fact that the officials and workers of the factory had achieved many successes through a dynamic struggle to make new high-performance machines and equipment as assigned by the Party.

That day, the respected General Secretary said that the factory should wage an energetic struggle to develop various kinds of multifunctional machines and equipment based on the already-made successes and stressed that what is important in developing the country’s machine-building industry is to firmly adhere to the Juche-oriented standpoint.

The officials keenly realized that they can always perform miracles and feats alone in the face of any trials when they hold fast to the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance highly displayed by the preceding generations of revolution as the sword of prosperity.

Stroking Bag Canvas Samples Again and Again

One January day several years ago, the respected General Secretary inspected the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill and had a look at the bag canvas samples.

The officials informed him that the bag canvases were all produced at the mill.

He praised that the bag canvases of the mill’s manufacturing were of beautiful colors and fine quality. Then he stroked the samples in person one by one.

The officials were wrapped in excitement.

Such proud fruition was unthinkable apart from the painstaking efforts of the respected General Secretary who led the provision of satchels to the schoolchildren step by step, regarding it as an important undertaking for demonstrating the absolute advantages of our-style socialism, not as a mere one for nicely appareling the rising generations.

After making rounds of the production sites, he said that the installations of the bag canvas production line were the most precious and valuable as they had been made by our own efforts though they were humble in appearance.

He stressed that the buzzing sound of equipment for normal production and self-reliance constitutes a heavy blow dealt to the U.S. imperialists and the vassal forces.

The officials kept in their hearts the fact that the creation of everything by our own efforts and technology is none other than the work to safeguard our-style socialism and to add glory to it and hardened their will to further ensure production on a normal footing, holding aloft the banner of self-reliance.
