Against the backdrop of the ever-increasing military aid to Ukraine by the U.S. and the West, the spokesperson for the Russian foreign ministry, commented in recent interview on the remarks of the French minister of armed forces on reviewing the deployment of non-nuclear deterrence forces in Ukraine, and exposed the dangerous nature of deployment of foreign forces in Ukraine.
I would like to reemphasize for those who might have forgotten that such deployment can trigger a direct conflict between the nuclear powers and incur catastrophic result, and if such a plan is being reviewed in the general staff of the French army, I expresses sympathy to the people of the 5th Republic, the spokesperson mocked.
She went on to refer to the US-Japan joint military exercise codenamed “Keen Sword” being conducted in the border areas near the territory of the Russian Federation and exposed that the exercise itself is the inseparable part of the attempt to multiply the NATO-centered organizations in the Asia-Pacific region.
She stressed that Moscow possesses sufficient political and military means which can neutralize all the targets deployed there.
