The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un made public the classic work "Let Us Live and Work in the Revolutionary Spirit of Paektu, the Spirit of the Blizzards of Paektu" on October 27, 2014.

He indicated that the revolutionary spirit of Paektu, the spirit of blizzards of Paektu is an unyielding offensive spirit of braving obstacles and difficulties and a staunch fighting spirit of rising up no matter how often one may fall and fighting it out.

Unyielding offensive spirit of braving obstacles and difficulties, this is the thoroughgoing spirit of overcoming all the barriers on the way of advance of the revolution without any slightest hesitation and vacillation.

There have been numberless obstacles and difficulties in front of our revolution advancing through long confrontation with the imperialists.

However, our people have covered the history of victory and glory, closely united around the Party. Its foundation is the unyielding offensive spirit of braving all the difficulties without any hesitation and vacillation.

Our Party and people eliminated the anti-Party, counterrevolutionary factionalists in the decisive spirit of Paektu and performed the miracles in the heroic Chollima era and opened the great era of prosperity of the motherland in the 1970’s and 1980’s along with the slogan "Let us produce, study and live like the anti-Japanese guerrillas!"

Our people victoriously finished the Arduous March, Forced March and ushered in a shortcut to the new era of grandeur and prosperity. It is the brilliant fruition of the stubborn offensive under the leadership of the great Party.

Our people have dynamically waged the struggle true to the leadership of the respected General Secretary deeply keeping in mind the truth that the spirit of strong offensive is the treasured sword for invincibility.

It is the noble intention of the respected General Secretary to fully demonstrate the might of Kim Il Sung’s nation, Kim Jong Il’s Korea all over the world, braving harsh ordeals.

Our revolution will advance faster and our country will be soon a socialist power where people’s dreams and ideals come to reality when all the officials, Party members and other working people of the country live and work in the spirit of Paektu.

Staunch fighting spirit of rising up no matter how often one may fall and fighting it out is the spirit of firm faith and will to win the victory of the revolution after defeating the enemies at any cost.

It is the basic character of a revolutionary to keep the pledge made before the revolution unto his death.

The anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners indomitably fought against the Japanese imperialists with the iron faith that our revolution will surely emerge victorious as long as they are led by President Kim Il Sung and the strong will to defeat the enemies and liberate the country at any cost.
