A performance was given at the Central Cadres Training School of the Workers’ Party of Korea on October 10, the 79th founding anniversary of the WPK, revving up the atmosphere of significant celebration of the holiday of the great WPK, which was born as the guiding force of the revolution with a hammer, sickle and writing brush inscribed on its sacred red flag and has led the country and people to the steady success and prosperity.

The “pedigree” establishment for training the core of the WPK, a symbol of its absolute prestige and the invincible cause of the revolution, was full of noble respect for the glorious history and exploits of the WPK, which has carried forward the ideals and spirit it took up at the time of its founding in a pure, thoroughgoing and perfect way and demonstrated the dignity, honour and heroism of the great state to the whole world.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, enjoyed the performance.

When Kim Jong Un arrived at the school amid the playing of welcome music, stormy cheers of “Hurrah!” were raised.

All the participants paid the highest tribute to Kim Jong Un, banner of all victories and glory, who is vigorously ushering in a new era of the comprehensive national prosperity while glorifying the immortal dignity and honour as the world’s longest ruling socialist party with his outstanding revolutionary ideology and refined and seasoned leadership.

Kim Jong Un warmly acknowledged the enthusiastic cheers, extending congratulations to all the participants on the Party founding anniversary.

Among the audience were Presidium members of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and other members of the central leadership body of the Party, officials of the WPK Central Committee, deputies to the Supreme People’s Assembly, officials of the armed forces organs, Party officials of ministries, national agencies and the capital city and teaching staff and students of the school.

Present there were Alexandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK, and other leading embassy members as guests personally invited by the head of state.

The performance began with women’s and men’s chorus “Long Live the Workers’ Party of Korea.” Put on the stage were hymns to the WPK and songs of patriotism which the Korean people have sung in praise of the great Party on the long path resplendent with heroism for accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche.

Through the immortal odes to the WPK, the performers portrayed the people’s ideological and spiritual world of absolute trust and loyalty to the WPK, which is writing a great history of building a prosperous country with a strong army and ushering in a golden age with its outstanding leadership while demonstrating the blood-sealed ties with the people unprecedented in the world political history.

The songs in praise of the WPK, which is strong for the victories it has won from one century to the next, dignified for the great exploits it has achieved for the times and history and warm for the benevolence of translating all dreams of the people into reality, fully portrayed the noble ideological emotions that the WPK is the eternal conscience, heart and glory of the Korean people.

The song “Care of My Destiny” depicting with rich lyricism and true-to-life poetic words the people’s unalloyed and pure loyalty to share the destiny with the motherly Party holding all the people in its embrace and bringing them happiness and honour, while overcoming all trials of history, unfolded in an impressive way the characteristic feelings shared by them and the Party as a bloodline, touching the heartstrings of the audience.

“Song for the Motherland” and “Passion” that sincerely and grandly sing of their patriotic desire and passion to devote their whole life to achieving the eternal prosperity of their most beautiful, greatest country, also enjoyed the unstinted praise of the audience.

The performance that excited the audience with the songs of singled-hearted loyalty and faith which would remain unchanged to the end of the world and times reached its climax with female and male chorus “Our National Flag” and female solo and male chorus “National Anthem of the DPRK”.

Fireworks were set off amid the emotional cheers.

Kim Jong Un warmly acknowledged the performing artistes and the audience, expressing satisfaction over the successful performance.

All the participants raised stormy cheers with their firm determination to remain boundlessly faithful to the sacred cause of glorifying the glorious era of Kim Jong Un as a golden age of developing the WPK, which is dignified with his great inheritance, outstanding leadership and warm loving care.

The performance significantly decorated the birthday of the motherly Party, boosting the all-people ideological emotion to greet all victories and honour along the road of glorifying the dignity of the WPK, great in its founding and in the whole history of its development.
