History and Traditions of Nation Should Be Inherited

Development of long history and traditions of any nation is unthinkable without leadership of the peerlessly great man who preserves and develops them.

It happened one October day in Juche 103(2014).

The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un sat together with officials and gave them the important talk "National Heritage Conservation Is a Patriotic Undertaking for Adding Brilliance to the History and Traditions of Our Nation".

In his talk the General Secretary stressed the need to preserve and develop our superior national traditions reflecting eternity, superiority, noble spiritual world and peculiar way of life.

He told officials that we should value worthy creations associated with wisdom and talents of the nation and beautiful manners and customs handed down through generations and inherit and develop them as required by the new era.

He continued that our Party has positively promoted the culture, art, manners and customs of the nation and ensured that our people pleasantly enjoy folk holidays in order to give full play to the Korean-nation-first spirit.

The officials deeply felt the noble intention of the peerless patriot and the great father who most values and glorifies traditions of the nation.

Indeed, thanks to the energetic leadership of the respected General Secretary our nationality is further developing and our people are creating a new history of prosperity with confidence in victory and optimism while giving full play to the Korean-nation-first spirit in any difficulties.

Thoroughly Apply Juche Character and National Identity

The respected General Secretary gave field guidance at the completed Terminal of Pyongyang International Airport one June day in Juche 104(2015).

Looking at the newly built terminal, the General Secretary said with great satisfaction that it was built well in harmonious keeping with the modern aesthetic taste and national characters.

The accompanying officials also expressed their admiration for the flawless terminal of the airport.

After learning in detail about the construction and preparation for service, the General Secretary highly praised that they built well the terminal thoroughly applying the Juche character and national identity which is life of the architecture in conformity with the international standard.

He continued that the terminal of the airport displays our own style and characters.

The accompanying officials were deeply impressed recollecting the great efforts of the General Secretary who worked heart and soul for the construction of the terminal of Pyongyang International Airport as a monumental edifice reflecting the Juche character and national identity.

He stressed the need to make a new construction revolution on the basis of good experiences.

Receiving his instructions, the officials kept in their minds that to erect all buildings in our own style and characters is the important way to thoroughly apply the Juche character and national identity in the architecture.
